  1. Stop giving money to the parents. Provide the meals, subsidize child care directly to facilities. Giving the money to many of these households does not create a solution when they decide to use the money elsewhere. I am 100% on-board feeding every hungry child. Let the parents get to work and create a better life for their families, not stay home and collect hand-outs.

    As a business owner, I can’t find labor because if they don’t make $18-$20 hour, they get paid more to stay home.
