  1. Quote: Buttigieg announced on Tuesday the first low-cost federal transportation loan in the Biden administration, up to $448 million to Texas for toll-road projects in Austin to ease congestion, touting bike-friendly features such as a planned 10-foot-wide paved sidewalk for cyclists and pedestrians with access to trails.

It figures Buttigieg would favor Austin; it is Texas’ Berkeley California bastion of liberalism.

    1. Really killing you that “Infrastructure Week” was hot air the last four years, isn’t it, Bob?

Again, a good idea from Trump to improve our infrastructure… something he likely could have had bipartisan support for … but something he never delivered on. Being President is hard work and requires more than watching TV and tweeting.

    2. Biden’s administration has nearly done more for Texas than Trump ever did for any state that didn’t vote for him.

Would you rather have $500m be spent on an infrastructure that helps bison cross roads in Montana? Most infrastructure in the US is in big cities. Most big cities are liberal. Get over it.

    3. Right, Robert H: Most big cities are liberal…as were, what, every one of them that were partially destroyed during last summer’s riots –oops, “peaceful protests?” And what now, Biden’s 1.9 Trillion giveaway includes millions of dollars to repair that damage, paid for by future taxpayers?

Yeah, I’ll “get over it” as soon as Democrats take some -any- responsibility for cultivating the environment that spawned all that destruction in the first place…and allowed it to continue with minimum intervention. (I’m not holding my breath…)

Those who ignore the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it. You’ll probably learn that too late, ‘sorry to say.

  2. Always amusing to ignite the delicate liberal sensitivities on this board.

Trump’s biggest infrastructure improvement was trying to finish getting the wall built across the southern boarder to slow down the invasion of illegal immigrants. With more co-operation from TDS Democrats, he could have got it done.
