  1. As they say,” Build it and they will come”, but it’s not that simple. Indy needs to build the finest CAMPUS for USA Gymnastics, Hire the most creative team to make it happen, locate it in the best possible location, ensure the safety of all involved, and take interest in, and support all the young people in the state and nation who want to dedicate their lives to this sport.

It can’t be under budgeted! Get the city of Indianapolis, the state of Indiana, the state universities and surrounding states and every person and entity that will sponsor this PALACE of GYMNASTICS to ensure its success!

  2. “a variety of factors will be taken into consideration when selecting a site, including the area’s stance on women’s rights.”

I guess this leaves Indiana and Indianapolis out of the running for the training center, and possibly the HQ down the road.

    1. I think that is very much over exaggerated that everything has to be revolved around one groups rights when this organization caters to both men and women and anything in between. State law makers don’t always speak for the entire state and im certain most Hoosiers support the rights of everyone. My point is the State shouldn’t be to blame for the misconduct of Larry Nassar. There’s no perfect state that caters to everything everyone wants. Its hard to please everyone.

    2. Kevin O.

Other states are just as conservative or even more so and are thriving
      economically.
Think Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and others.

Many corporations and organizations cry foul on women’s rights or transgender,
or you name it rights.. The bottom line is that these corporations and organizations will go where they can get the best deal.
