  1. What’s pretty funny is someone reserved the domain Voltswagen.com almost 18 years ago. If they’re smart, they won’t sell the domain but wangle some deal where they get a free, new, car every time the company leapfrogs the technology so they’ll always be current (pun intended).

  2. What might be even funnier is that the “name change” was a hoax with a fake news release. The story broke a short time ago, media outlets including the AP & MSNBC reported the name change after being assured by company officials that it was legit. VW has now admitted it’s true.
