A New York-based chain of independent pharmacies offering pick-up and delivery services is planning its Midwestern debut with a new store in Carmel.
The pharmacy specializing in dermatological products will open in the Gateway Plaza retail center at 12955 Old Meridian Street, according to marketing information from the center’s listing agent.
Construction design plans filed for the project show Apotheco will occupy a 2,870-square-foot storefront between A Cut Above Catering and Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy. The timing of Apotheco’s debut wasn’t immediately available.
Other tenants at Gateway, which will undergo facade improvements this spring, include Burn Boot Camp and Halo Salon. A third location for Indianapolis-based breakfast and lunch bistro Rize is expected to open this summer.
Apotheco Pharmacy Group operates 13 locations in New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey, and a 14th will be opening soon in Connecticut.
