ALL WINNERS HAVE BEEN CONTACTED. CONTEST IS CLOSED. (If you won tickets, please note the corrected location for the screening.)
But we’ve got another screening happening that same night for "It’s Complicated." Details here.
This week, I’m offering a chance to take a break from holiday shopping and see how Hollywood has treated the world’s most famous detective.
Yes, I’ve got tickets to an advance screening of “Sherlock Holmes,” starring Robert Downey Jr. It’s happening Monday, December 21st at 7:30 at UA Galaxy.
There’s no mystery to winning them. All you have to do is, in the space below, comment on your favorite mystery (whether in print, on film, in life, or wherever). THEN you need to e-mail me at lharry@ibj.com with "Sherlock" on the subject line. You must do both.
Winners will be picked at random beginning Friday until all passes are gone. I’ll send an electronic code to claim your ticket online. There’s no need this time to visit the IBJ offices to pick them up.
As is usual for these screenings, a pass does not guarantee admission. You must arrive early. Once the seats are filled, even pass holders will be turned away.
