For me, the first big weekend of the arts season included meeting many of you at the Penrod Arts Fair and handing out hundreds of copies of the IBJ A&E Season Preview. (If you didn't get a hard copy, you can check it out electronically here.)
If you arrived late and I missed you, that's because I needed to scoot out in order to get to the Indianapolis City Ballet's annual benefit event featuring some of the top dancers on the planet. More on that later.
The weekend also included Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre's season-opening "Pippin" at the Center for the Performing Arts.
Did you get to any of the above? Or did you take the smaller members of your household to experience the Children's Museum's Playscape upgrade? Maybe you gallery hopped for First Friday or bought some art at the Eiteljorg's annual Quest for the West.
What A&E did you experience over the weekend?
