Take maximum advantage of Zoobilation (June 13) and you may not be hungry again until end-of-August's Dig-In event.
The annual Indianapolis Zoo fundraiser offers a seemingly endless supply of food samples from some of Central Indiana's leading restaurants. Every year, though, there's something new in the mix and this year, besides watchful eye of the Zoo's orangutans, there's a batch of new places to sample (and, in my case, help judge.)
First-time Zoobilators for this year include 240sweet, BJ's Brewhouse, Cerulean, City Barbeque, Endangered Species Chocolate, Hoosier Park, Latitude 39, Market Table, Matt the Miller's Tavern, Ocean Prime, Prime 47, Sun King, and Union 50.
The event, which runs from 7 p.m. until midnight, is sold out. Last year's event raised over $1.6 million.
