Today’s Start with Art luncheon at the Convention Center unofficially marks the start of the arts season in Indy.
So were you there? If so, what did you think of Col Dean M. Esserman’s talk?
For those who weren’t, Esserman–Chief of Police of Povidence, RI, gave a sombre, almost Cormac McCarthy-ish speech about the need to “invest, not just arrest” when it comes to kid. “We all come from a family,” he said, “but also from a place and time” and argued that “knowledge and success follow love, not fear.”
