A new poll shows college grads are
worried about finding jobs â?? no surprise there, considering the sorry state of the economy.
But the poll, taken by Edison Media Research, also shows a third of them fretting about their parentsâ?? finances. One in five
of the 2,240 respondents had a parent lose a job in the past year.
Still, the poll found remarkable resilience. Despite a bleak immediate future, the graduates were resolute in their goals
of finding the work they want.
Many are working their tails off at multiple jobs to make ends meet while they look for dream positions. Others are going
to grad school to wait out the recession and eventually land a better job.
