Noblesville has a new deputy mayor.
Mayor John Ditslear announced Tuesday that vice president of Bose Public Affairs Group Steve Cooke will begin the new role April 4.
Cooke replaces Christy Langley, who recently left to become the new planning and transportation director for the city of Bloomington.
“I’m incredibly honored for this opportunity to work alongside Mayor Ditslear, his leadership team and the city, while serving my community and its citizens,” Cooke said in a prepared statement. “This is an exciting time for Noblesville, and I look forward to contributing all that I can to carry this vision forward.".
