Days could be numbered for an 85-year-old independent pharmacy at the northeast corner of Pennsylvania and 49th streets. The building that houses Hamaker Pharmacy, along with Cafe Patachou, D&Z Gifts, Meridian Heights Cleaners and Corks Grocery, is up for sale. The building is owned by the wife of pharmacy owner George Kaczmarski. They are talking with a potential buyer and are ready to get out of the business.
