Deals are in the works for two new restaurants downtown: a Mexican joint and a Cuban joint. Adobo Grill is expected to complete a deal this week to take about 6,000 square feet in 110 E. Washington St., a condo building between the Bearno’s pizza space and a new parking garage. Adobo also has locations along East 82nd Street on the north side and in Chicago. Meanwhile, TaTa’s Cuban Cafe is looking at opening a sandwich shop at 137 W. Market St., next door to Noble Roman’s. In other restaurant news: Weber Grill is on schedule to open July 9; and the interior of Argentinian restaurant Taste of Tango is coming along nicely at 36 E. Washington St., although the outside looks about the same. What else are you hearing?
