The downtown lunch crowd will have one more option in the spring: Pita Pit. The Lebanese-style pitas chain already has a restaurant on West 86th Street across from Brebeuf Prep. It also has stores in Bloomington, Muncie and West Lafayette. The 1,200-square-foot downtown store, which will take space next to Flagstar Bank in 1 North Pennsylvania St., will be operated by a new franchise owner for the chain, Travis Sealls of Indianapolis. The other Indianapolis location is operated by Gary Jeffery, his wife Kathy and son Brian. The Idaho-based chain, which began in Canada, has a total of about 185 locations in the U.S.
