A new lunch spot called Nia’s Deli is on track to open next week in a building at 38 E. Washington St. (shown here) that burned in 2007. The space also will feature a convenience store with bottled drinks, snacks and toiletries. The restaurant is named after the owner’s seven-year-old daughter.
A former Bennigan’s restaurant in Fishers that changed to Hot Shotz has a new name again. The 2,600-square-foot restaurant attached to the Holiday Inn along I-69 now is known as 97th Landing. The owner and chef still is Robert Winckler, but the restaurant now features hand-cut steaks and seafood in addition to smoked wings & ribs, along with a Friday seafood and prime rib buffet and a $5.99 lunch menu.
