The state had reported more than 1,000 new cases daily for the previous four days.
The state also reported seven additional deaths from COVID-19.
The department on Monday reported the testing of 7,253 more unique individuals, the lowest number since Sept. 29.
The cumulative positivity rate for unique individuals remained at 8.8% and the seven-day positivity rate for unique individuals rose to 8.5%.
