I’m not feeling it either, but his presence reminds me that their is going to be a pretty big split in the Republican party between Trump loyalists and those that would prefer to move beyond him. The more crisis’s we have the more the hard right may win out. Their just doesn’t seem to be any room for moderates anymore.
Mike’s done in politics. To the base voter, he wasn’t loyal enough to Trump and Trump has moved on to his wannabe clones. To everyone else, they remember the four years he debased himself towards Trump.
His purpose in life was to serve as a warning to others as to what happens when you compromise your supposed principles for power. His best case scenario is to go run Liberty or Hillsdale and get paid.
Joe B, I’ve said that since before the end of his term. “Mother” is way more focused on money than Mike, and the president’s chair at Liberty is just waiting for him with all its cash and perks. If it came to Mike Pence or Mitt Romney or any of the other neo-con fossils up against Tulsi Gabbard in 2024, I’d vote Tulsi in a heartbeat. Pence is the same empty suit he always was, the only thing resembling a vision that he stands for is appeasement, and he will be a footnote in American history 25 years after he croaks. And fundamentally, I still don’t think he’s a bad person. But you can’t just embody “solemn dignity” if you’re fundamentally weak. And weak isn’t good. He’s the opposite end of the Pelosi-Schumer turd, and the establishment needs to be flushed, one log at a time.

Both ridiculous. Nobody in their right mind would allege WIDESPREAD voter fraud. There absolutely WAS targeted, specific, well-orchestrated voter fraud in at least four cities that swung four states: Madison WI, Detroit MI, Philadelphia PA, and Atlanta GA. Pence would have been right to use whatever constitutional provision he had to question electors from those states. I don’t profess to know why he didn’t.
It gets tiring, hearing [unnamed, of course] AP reporters state something as true and it magically becomes true just because they say so, evidence and facts be damned. This defines gaslighting which, I’ll admit, I didn’t know what it was until it became commonly used in the last six months…but it perfectly describes the idea of repeating a lie often enough that people begin to believe it is true. It’s still a lie.

Bingo. On one hand we have hundreds of affidavits from poll workers and supervisors, testifying under oath (and under penalty of perjury) to the fraudulent activity, the harassing of GOP workers, and the tendency to continue “counting” after hours. Yet somehow we’re supposed to believe the Associated Press and other “journalists” who can say whatever they want and face no legal consequences.
The voter fraud was widespread Bob. Even if it was mostly concentrated in four cities (and Arizona and Nevada), there were abundant examples of ballot harvesting in MN and TX, dead voters in MI and AZ, felons/Alzheimer’s patients/developmentally disabled voting in GA and TX and AZ, 120% voter turnout in various precincts in MI and WI, overnight shipping of paper votes from NY to PA on Election Night, and, of course, post-dated ballots in at least a dozen states.
They continue to deny because they know the done it dirty. If the Democratic “fortifiers” had nothing to hide they could laugh these allegations off. Biden-Harris will always be an asterisk presidency, but at least those of us who have made peace with this can enjoy watching them fail and prove they are out of step with the electorate…because they were rigged in.
The situation would have been quickly remedied in a court of law if any of the evidence that allege exists actually did.
The only election fraud is the nonsense propagated on conservative media which is being used to attack the right to vote. Because Republicans have a better chance of winning if they stop people from voting… then actually coming up with a platform that the American public wants to vote for.
Put another way, just because you repeat a lie a million times doesn’t make it the truth.
Pence had no constitutional authority to change the electoral votes from the 50 states. Anyone – including Trump – who still thinks otherwise needs to get therapy.
