Briefs:

— Indianapolis-based Cityscape Residential has added two new executives to its staff, with the hiring of Evan Bryant as the firm’s director of land acquisitions and Rebecca Collins as its director of communications and property management. Bryant previously worked for student housing firm Trinitas Ventures and has experience in land acquisition, contract negotiation and management, project underwriting, and development. Collins will focus on occupancy and rent growth, along with marketing and brand management projects. “These strategic hires strengthen our ability to be creative and innovative as we continue to develop luxury communities across the Midwest,” Jim Thomas, co-founder and managing partner of Cityscape Residential, said in a media release. “Rebecca and Evan’s leadership and expertise will not only drive profit, [but they] will help guide our big-picture vision as we prepare to debut even more new and exciting developments in the near future.”

— Local delivery-only food purveyor ClusterTruck plans to begin serving the Castleton area on June 2 with its fifth kitchen in the Indy area. It already maintains food-prep facilities and in Broad Ripple, Carmel and Fishers.

— Condado Tacos is opening its third Indiana location on June 3 at 12545 Old Meridian St. in Carmel. It will be a part of Providence on Old Meridian, a mixed-use project developed by Indianapolis-based Buckingham Cos.

Sales:

Bellagio Real Estate purchased a building at 3802 Ruckle St. The seller, Clark Brothers LLC, was represented by Keith Fried of McCrea Property Group. The buyer represented itself.

Leases:

Samuel JEJE, dba Samuel JEJE Farmers Insurance Agency, leased 520 square feet of office space at Executive North Office Park, 941 E. 86th St. The landlord, Holland Associates LP, was represented by Brian Bondus of ALO Property Group. The tenant represented itself.

Boost Mobile leased 800 square feet at 96th Street Station, 9546 Allisonville Road. The landlord, LOR Corp., was represented by Liz Morken. The tenant represented itself.

Iris Works LLC leased 896 square feet of office space at Executive North Office Park, 931 E. 86th St. The landlord, Holland Associates LP, was represented by Brian Bondus of ALO Property Group. The tenant represented itself.

A Hair Salon leased 1,200 square feet at Arlington Square, 1005 N. Arlington Ave. The landlord, ProVest PDQ Arlington LLC, was represented by Keith Fried and Jason Fried of McCrea Property Group. The tenant represented itself.

Nothing Bundt Cakes leased 2,000 square feet at Gables of Avon, 9819 E. U.S. Highway 36, Avon. The landlord, Rosepax LLC, was represented by Keith Fried of McCrea Property Group. The tenant was represented by Mark Stanislawski of The Retail Strategy.

Puppy Gram LLC leased 2,600 square feet at 96th Street Station, 9546 Allisonville Road. The landlord, LOR Corp., was represented by Liz Morken. The tenant represented itself.

Amina Miracles Learning Academy signed a new lease for 3,500 square feet of space in the neighborhood center known as 25th Street Plaza, located at 2304 E. 25th St. Cindy Hoskinson of Lee & Associates-Indianapolis, represented the landlord, Indy Management Group Inc., and the tenant.

Costa Azul leased 3,509 square feet at Greenbriar Shopping Center, 1351 W. 86th St. The landlord, Prime Property Investors Fund, was represented by Liz Morken of McCrea Property Group. The tenant represented itself.

Fall & Robertson Investments Plainfield LLC signed a new lease for 7,860 square feet of free-standing, former restaurant space located at 2224 E. Perry Road, Plainfield. The tenant represented itself in the transaction. The landlord, Joseph & Doris Bartlett, was represented by Crystal Kennard of Lee & Associates-Indianapolis.

Construction:

Capitol Construction completed a 1,650-square-foot remodel of the Starbucks at 9545 N. Meridian St.

Capitol Construction completed a 4,850-square-foot salon buildout for Witch Hazel at 601 Fulton St.

Capitol Construction completed a 10,400-square-foot office buildout for Centria Health at 6100 W. 96th St.

Rates:

The average rate for 30-year mortgages rose from 2.94% to 3% in the week ended May 20, according to FreddieMac. The rate for 15-year mortgages rose from 2.26% to 2.29%.
