As I write this, Indiana Black Expo officials are at the NCAA headquarters announcing key ingredients in its 40th anniversary
mix.
The June 8-18 Summer Celebration will included a performance by R&B star Case, who charted with such songs as "Missing
You" and "Touch Me, Tease Me". He'll share the stage for a July 16 concert with DJ Kid Capril.
Also coming to town: Dru Hill, Chubb Rock and Rob Base, and rapper DJ Kool for a July 17 concert. On the 18th, it's Teena
Marie's turn, along with Keith Sweat.
On the 15th, Mike Epps–featured in such films as "Next Day Air," "Resident Evil: Extinction," and "Next
Friday,"–will be picking up IBE's Entertainer of the Year Award.
