Just a few blog posts ago I reported that former Broadway Elphaba Nicole Parker will be in Bloomington next month for the world premiere of a new musical she's co-written.
Now comes word from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra that original Elpheba Idina Menzel will be performing a one-night only concert with the big, big band at Hilbert Circle Theatre.
Menzel, whose popularity has expanded thanks to appearances on TV's "Glee," will be taking the stage on March 2. The actress/singer also appeared in "Rent," "Aida," "The Wild Party" and the recent PBS broadcast of a concert version of "Chess" (We'll try to forget that last one).
Don't rush to the phones yet–tickets don't go on sale until Monday the 10th.
