This summer, the Goodman Theatre in Chicago presents the world-premiere, pre-Broadway stage production of Disney’s “The Jungle Book.” No ordinary screen-to-stage adaptation, this one is directed and adapted by Tony Award-winner Mary Zimmerman (Hear her discuss the show and its unique Indian-meets-swing score here ) and promises to be something special.
I’ll be hosting a road trip to Chicago for the show, which will include an optional side trip to—where else?—the Lincoln Park Zoo. Sign up early to guarantee a seat. Kids 8 and over are welcome on this one. Click here for more details.
