I had intended to highlight “The Onion Live” in the upcoming IBJ A&E Season Preview. The show, an on-stage version of the popular satiric newspaper and featuring sketches based on the day’s headlines, was scheduled for Clowes Hall in October.
However, some searching found that the producers were canceling shows around the country, including ones after the Clowes date.
A call to Clowes Tuesday revealed that, while there has been no official statement yet, the tour has been delayed. It’s now scheduled for a stint in Chicago in the spring of 2014 and is rebooking the tour for that fall.
I’m happy to report, though, that there’s still plenty to highlight for the upcoming season. Look for the IBJ A&E Season Preview in August.
