Yes, I missed the recreation of the "Last Waltz" concert at the Vogue. And Karen Irwin's Janis Joplin show at the Cabaret at the Club.
But I have excuses. I was in Muncie speaking at the Midwest Writers Workshop, a wonderful gathering of scribes across the experience spectrum learning with each other, sharing stories, and offering fellowship. After classes, I had just enough time to get to the Palladium to see the finals of the Great American Songbook high school vocal competition, grab a few hours sleep, and then host another wonderful IBJ A&E Road Trip on Saturday to Chicago to see the Goodman Theatre's production of "The Jungle Book" (which I wrote about here).
So did you get to any of the aforementioned shows? Or did you catch the final weekend for "ZIrkusGrimm" or the Indianapolis International Film Festival.
What did you hear, see or do on the A&E front last weekend?
