Rev, the Methodist Hospital Foundation benefit, served as the kick-off event for the month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Bluebeard's Beef Tartare with ginger vinaigrette with vegetarian fried wotons.
Newcomer North End Barbecue & Moonshine's simple, delicious Sugar Cream Pie.
McFarling Foods' Brie, Apple, Honey and Walnut Crostini.
The White Chocolate Mocha Bread Pudding from Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar.
Ocean Prime's Stir Fry Rice with Miso Glazed Shrimp in a miso sauce with sprouts and sesame seeds.
The only downside of the event was the darkness and signage in the main event buildings. Food this carefully crafted deserves better lighting and lower volume from the musical acts, the better to talk with the chefs and their partnering Indy 500 drivers.
