Duke Realty Corp. is proposing to add another building to Carmel's Hamilton Crossing office park along U.S. 31 between Carmel Drive and Main Street.
The 51,600-square-foot structure would be three stories tall with space for multiple office suites and an undetermined number of tenants. The office campus includes six office buildings, a 1.5-mile walking path, conference center, fitness center, cafe and parking garage.
Indianapolis-based Duke controls five of the six existing structures, while ITT Educational Services Inc. owns and occupies the other building as its headquarters.
Of the five buildings owned by Duke, three are 100-percent occupied and the other two structures, which account for 173,000 square feet, have about 18,600 square feet vacant.
Tenants at the Hamilton Crossing include Toshiba Business Solutions, American Specialty Health Inc., ADESA, JD Byrider Systems Inc., Blue and Co. LLC, Krieg DeVault LLP, Iasta, Experian and KAR Auction Services.
A public hearing for the project is scheduled for July 21 at the Carmel Plan Commission meeting.
